Yesterday Karen, Sigrid, Jørgen, and I went to visit some of Karen's family for a holiday party. Nini and Kåre's house, where we gathered, is absolutely beautiful. They are both architects, and they designed and built their house almost 10 years ago. The design is so distinctly Danish, with a balance between clean lines and cosy decor. Not only were we celebrating the upcoming Christmas holidays, but it was also their daughter Ingrid's birthday. The lighting was so beautiful and the atmosphere was so hygge that I had to snap some pictures as the sun set.
