A Community Kitchen
The South 7th Culinary Center will proved both a platform for the community members to hone their cooking skills and an after school program for children. The South Seventh Ward community is home to many cooks and aspiring chefs. With the recent reopening of the historic Circle Foods Store, the South 7th Ward Culinary Center will reinforce the vibrant culinary culture in this community.

The First Floor

The first floor of the center features a public cafe and demonstration kitchen, which will be utilized for both the cooking classes and cafe. A classroom/meeting room and office are situated in a private area in the back of the center for utilization by students and teachers.

The Second Floor

The second and third floor of the center house dorms for students and teachers of the center. A one bedroom apartment with attached office gives a private space to a live-in teacher, and two-three bedroom dorms provide space for six students.
